This Weekend: Georgia Food and Wine Festival Happening for the 3rd Time

The 3rd Annual Georgia Food + Wine Festival is gearing up for an exciting weekend from March 22 to 24 at Jim Miller Park in Marietta. It’s a celebration of food, wine, and community, offering a variety of events suitable for all ages.

One of the highlights is the Fired-Up event on March 22, where guests can enjoy tasty bites and beverages, including a whole hog pickin’ by pitmasters from Rodney Scott’s BBQ. Additionally, Chef Nick Leahy and James Beam National Brand Ambassador, Beth Burrows, will be hosting the Meat & Greet, showcasing their culinary skills.

On March 23, the Savor event invites attendees to explore over 20 restaurants and artisan booths, with a wide selection of wine, beer, and spirits to sample. There will be live music, chef demos, and plenty of opportunities to discover Georgia Grown products. VIP Lounge offers an exclusive experience with catered food, craft cocktails, and early festival access.

Families can join the fun on Sunday, March 24, for Sunday Funday, featuring a free Kids Zone with inflatables and entertainment for the little ones. Adults can enjoy live music, food trucks, and Georgia’s Best Whiskey Cocktail Challenge. Throughout the weekend, guests can meet celebrity chefs, indulge in delicious food, and enjoy entertainment on various stages.

The festival also offers unique experiences, including showcases by Georgia Grown members, Audi Marietta vehicle displays, and the Maker’s Mark signature cocktail trailer. Engage in the “Georgia’s Best Whiskey Cocktail Challenge” and support the SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center through the SafePath Silent Auction and Wine & Spirits Pull.
