According to the Cobb County Police Department, the suspect entered the post office located on Roswell Street in Marietta during regular business hours. Surveillance footage shows the man casually walking in, bypassing the front counter, and making his way to the mail sorting area. There, he grabbed a postal bag filled with mail and walked out of the building without arousing immediate suspicion.
The theft was discovered shortly after when postal employees noticed the missing mailbag. They reviewed the security footage and promptly reported the incident to the police. Authorities are now working with the United States Postal Inspection Service to identify and apprehend the suspect.
