Cherokee Christian Schools is proud to announce the top academic achievers of the graduating class of 2024. This year, the honors of valedictorian and salutatorian are awarded to two outstanding students who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their studies and extracurricular activities.
Emma Roberts has been named the valedictorian for her remarkable academic performance and contributions to the school community. With a perfect GPA and a record of excelling in advanced placement courses, Emma has shown an unwavering commitment to her education. Beyond the classroom, she has been an active member of the debate team, the National Honor Society, and the school’s volunteer program, where she dedicated countless hours to community service projects.
Emma plans to attend Stanford University in the fall, where she will major in Biomedical Engineering. She hopes to combine her passion for science and helping others to innovate in the field of medical technology. “Being named valedictorian is an incredible honor,” said Emma. “I am grateful for the support of my family, teachers, and friends who have helped me achieve this goal.”
Jacob Turner has earned the title of salutatorian, recognizing his exceptional scholastic achievements and leadership skills. Jacob has maintained an impressive GPA while participating in various extracurricular activities, including the robotics club, student government, and the varsity soccer team. His dedication to both his academic and personal growth has set a high standard for his peers.
Jacob will be attending the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he plans to study Computer Science. His interest in technology and problem-solving has driven him to pursue a career in software development. “It’s an honor to be named salutatorian,” said Jacob. “I am thankful for the encouragement and opportunities provided by my school and community.”
