As one of the best schools for military spouses in 2024–2025, Chattahoochee Technical College has won national praise and is now ranked eighth in the category of Top Ten Large Community Colleges. The college’s dedication to providing excellent postsecondary education options to military partners is reaffirmed by this prestigious award, which further solidifies its position as a leader in helping military students and their families.
Conversational Tech’s Veteran Services Coordinator, Michael Payne, was deeply grateful for the award, saying, “Chattahoochee Tech is honored to receive this distinction.” We are strongly committed to giving our military kids, veterans, and their families the tutoring, job, and school supplies they need. According to Payne, the college is committed to creating a welcoming and helpful space so that military wives can feel confident in pursuing their educational and career goals.
Behind Chattahoochee Tech’s goal is a strong commitment to helping military families. Each term, the school welcomes 300 military family members and 300 current military or veteran students. The Marietta Campus’s Veterans Education job Training Resource Center is an important part of offering important support services by connecting students with excellent educational and job tools that are tailored to their specific needs.
Receiving the service Spouse Friendly Schools designation shows that Chattahoochee Tech takes a complete approach to meeting the various needs of service wives and their families. This award goes to schools that do great work with things like college admissions, student retention, job counseling, mentoring programs, flexible learning choices, and programs that help students finish their degrees.
The stringent process for choosing the Military Spouse Friendly Schools list included a lot of study, using public data sources for over 8,000 schools across the country, student veterans’ feedback, and answers to a Military Friendly Schools poll. Chattahoochee Tech’s presence on this prestigious list shows that it is committed to giving military students long-term and effective support, which reinforces its position as a forefront in higher education.
