Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron in Paris to talk about a “peace plan” with Russia.
According to Knewz.com, the two had a conversation with the Ukrainian leader after the U.S. president-elect made repeated promises throughout the campaign to stop the war quickly.

Russia has warned that a nuclear conflict might be sparked by the West’s backing of Ukraine.
As President Vladimir Putin promised to launch more hypersonic missiles at Ukrainian targets, Ambassador Andrey Kelin called the West’s support for Ukrainian missile strikes on Russian territory a dangerous escalation.
“Yes, Britain and the UK are now directly involved in this war because this firing cannot occur without NATO personnel, including British personnel,” Kelin stated.
“The US administration, support[ed] by France and the UK, has made a deliberate decision to make these strikes, which seriously escalates the situation, and it can bring a collision between the nuclear powers.”
Macron and Trump traveled to France to see the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, which had just undergone restoration.
The president-elect claimed to have done “a wonderful job ensuring that Notre Dame has been restored to its full level of glory, and even more so” when he accepted Macron’s invitation.
The day was described as “very special for all” by him.
Trump landed on a private plane at Orly Airport in the south of Paris, marking his first international trip since defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
The outgoing president stated on Saturday, December 7, that he had “enjoyed a great relationship” with Macron during his first term and that he was already getting ready to talk about geopolitics.
Donald Trump stated: “We have a good time together, and we had a lot of success, really great success working together.”
“It certainly felt like everything was going a bit haywire at the moment. We’ll also be discussing that.
The reopening of the cathedral is anticipated to be attended by officials from more than 50 nations.
Trump and Prince William are scheduled to meet at the event to talk about the significance of the “special relationship” between the US and the UK.
President Joe Biden was unable to accept Macron’s offer because of a scheduling conflict, therefore First Lady Jill Biden is also slated to go in his stead.
