Backstage at a women’s gathering, a long-running argument between Meghan McCain and Kellyanne Conway erupted.
Witnesses described the confrontation between the rival couple as “like something from The Real Housewives,” according to Knewz.com.
The pair participated in a panel at The Washington Post’s post-election Global Women’s Summit. Following the debate, Conway headed straight for McCain in the green room to confront her about her historic remarks regarding her marriage to her ex-husband George Conway, which she called offensive during a segment on The View.
“I wasn’t going to say this while I was miked, but do you remember what you said about me and my marriage on The View?” Kellyanne approached Meghan, according to an eyewitness.

Conway continued: “She may wish to outrun her recent past as a years-long residentMean Girl on The Viewand Bravo, where her mouth was a spigot of vile and bile hurled toward people and topics she does not know, including my marriage and children, and casually lying about silly things like me calling her (I don’t have her number).”
McCain stated: “When I accepted an offer to appear at an event organized by Tina Brown and The Washington Post, it was an odd experience and definitely not what I had anticipated.
“The only reason why their marriage was ever a hot topic was because they were constantly airing their dirty laundry to America.”
