Guthrie’s, renowned for its crispy chicken fingers and signature sauce, has opened a new restaurant in Woodstock, Georgia, expanding its presence in the Atlanta area. Located at 2004 Eagle Drive, at the bustling intersection of Eagle Drive and Rose Creek Drive, this new location promises to be a go-to spot for quick lunches, family dinners, and everything in between.
Owned and operated by the Atlanta Restaurant Group, this marks the second Guthrie’s restaurant within the multi-unit franchise’s growing portfolio. The Woodstock branch kicked off its grand opening on April 30th with a special promotion that had the first 50 guests receiving a complimentary Guthrie’s Box Meal. This popular meal package includes Guthrie’s golden fried chicken fingers, crispy fries, freshly chopped coleslaw, buttery Texas toast, a side of Guthrie’s distinctive dipping sauce, and a 20oz drink. The day was further highlighted by a raffle drawing for a substantial gift bag and multiple other giveaways, creating a festive atmosphere for all attendees.
Gant Sowinski, President of Atlanta Restaurant Group, expressed enthusiasm about the new location, noting the warm reception they received when they opened McAlister’s Deli in the neighboring Towne Lake area five years ago. “We’re thrilled to deepen our connection with this thriving and vibrant community,” said Sowinski. “Our location off Eagle Drive is perfect for people to eat in or drive thru. We invite everyone to stop in, say hello, and discover just how delicious our golden fried chicken fingers are. And you have to try the signature sauce!”
The new Guthrie’s location will continue the brand’s tradition of serving fresh, never frozen chicken fingers, paired with their signature items like buttery Texas toast, hand-chopped coleslaw, and crispy crinkle-cut fries. The simplicity of the menu highlights Guthrie’s commitment to quality and authenticity, ensuring a fun and satisfying dining experience for all ages.
Sowinski is optimistic about the restaurant’s future impact on the community, mentioning that the new Guthrie’s will provide upwards of 50 new jobs to the area. This growth is a testament to Guthrie’s commitment to community engagement and economic development.
