After his conversation with former President Barack Obama went viral, Donald Trump made fun of Kamala Harris in a parody video.
Social media users were quick to criticize her for her “salty” reaction after noticing the two laughing at former President Jimmy Carter’s burial, according to Knewz.com, before the president-elect took to Truth Social to ridicule the current Vice President.
Days after Trump and Obama’s amicable conversation went viral, the president-elect took advantage of the occasion to make fun of his erstwhile rival in the 2024 presidential contest.
Trump began the phony recording by saying, “Barack, very nice to see you.”
“Congratulations, so how are you doing?” Obama said.
In response, Trump said, “A lot better now.”
According to Obama’s recording, “I knew you’d win.”
In response, Trump’s impersonator said: “Oh really? Hurry up. She may be defeated by anyone.
Trump also ignored Hillary Clinton, whom he defeated in the 2016 presidential race, in the parody clip.
According to the audio recording, Trump added, “You know what I realized, Hillary still hates me.”
Social media users quickly criticized the vice president for seeming “jealous” and “bitter” as cameras captured Obama and Trump, who are known for openly expressing their dislike for one another, smiling and conversing prior to the funeral.
Former presidents, lawmakers, family members, and friends flocked to the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, January 9, to attend Carter’s funeral.
At the age of 100, the 39th President of the United States passed away on December 29.
Former President Obama and President-elect Trump were sitting next to one other for the service.
On X, a person commented: “Obama is behaving pretty amiably toward someone he typically professes to hate. It almost seems as though Trump isn’t all that horrible. Consider that.
One more person commented, “Obama & Trump chatting it up like old buddies.”
Another replied, “I really want to hear what President Trump said to Obama to make him laugh at a funeral.”
Harris was “irritated” to see the two laughing and sitting together, as social media users noted.
A person posted, “Kamala Harris seems to be giving dirty looks as Obama and Trump schmooze at Carter s funeral.”
Someone else said: “Kamala Harris appears irritated as she turns around to look at Obama and Trump having a conversation.”
A fourth wrote: “Vice President Kamala Harris is clearly enraged as President-elect Donald Trump, who defeated her in the 2024 election, is enjoying himself while speaking with former President Barack Obama! Certain wounds never fully recover.
Many people also said that Harris’s first impression of the two speaking was “absolutely priceless.”
Harris suffered yet another humiliating public defeat just days before she met Trump in person.
She oversaw a joint session of Congress on Monday that certified the results of the 2024 presidential election, which Trump won handily.
