A shocking 520-pageAccording to a congressional study, in the fall of 2019, COVID-19 did leak from a Wuhan, China facility.
According to Knewz.com, the Department of Justice surreptitiously looked into a New York-based business for hints on where the fatal disease that killed millions of people worldwide originated.
The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic delivered its final report Monday night, following a two-year inquiry that involved several hearings and interviews.
“The weight of the evidence increasingly supports the lab leak hypothesis four years after the worst pandemic in 100 years began,” the paper said.
“By nearly all measures of science, if there was evidence of a natural origin it would have already surfaced.”
Additionally, according to the report, the Wuhan research facility “has a history of conducting gain-of-function research at inadequate biosafety levels” and its researchers “were sick with a COVID-like virus in the fall of 2019, months before COVID-19 was discovered at the wet market.”
The Department of Justice opened a grand jury inquiry into EcoHealth Alliance after the study revealed that a US NGO that collaborated with the Wuhan lab had misused federal funds.
Although the specifics of the federal inquiry have not been made public, it aroused concerns about potential criminal penalties against the scientific community.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak, EcoHealth Alliance has been the subject of criticism regarding the possibility that the illness originated in the US government-funded facility.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, who came to represent the COVID-19 pandemic, was also criticized in the shocking report for dispelling any rumors that the virus was spilled from a laboratory.
According to the report: “Although Dr. Fauci initially thought the lab leak theory was a conspiracy theory at the beginning of the pandemic, it now seems that he is open-minded about the virus’s origin, provided that it does not implicate EcoHealth Alliance, and consequently, himself and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.”
“Understandably, as he signed off on the EcoHealth Alliance grant.”
The startling research also discovered that the pandemic’s social distancing regulations were “not based on science.”
According to the report: “During closed door testimony, Dr. Anthony Fauci testified that the guidance, sort of just appeared.'”
Additionally, the subcommittee discovered “no conclusive evidence” that masks, which were made standard in workplaces and educational institutions, helped shield the public from the fatal illness.
Regarding the inquiry, panel chairman Brad Wenstrup earlier told Congress: “This work will help the United States, and the world, predict the next pandemic, prepare for the next pandemic, protect ourselves from the next pandemic, and hopefully prevent the next pandemic.”
