An 18-year-old high school senior is being remembered for her kindness and bright personality after losing her life in a tragic car crash following prom night in Douglasville.
Patience Price, a student at Chapel Hill High School, died at the scene of the crash in the early hours of March 28, according to authorities.
Crash Happened Early Morning After Prom
The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Rosemont Drive and Chapel Hill Road, as reported by the Georgia State Patrol.
Investigators say the vehicle, a Mercedes, was traveling at a high speed while navigating a curve when it lost control. The car veered off the roadway, struck an embankment, became airborne, and rolled over multiple times.
Price, who was seated in the front passenger seat, was reportedly thrown from the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

There were two other individuals in the vehicle, including the driver and a backseat passenger. Both were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
