Atlanta Police looking for two suspects tied to Vine City food mart homicide

The Atlanta Police Department has released surveillance photos of two suspects wanted in connection with a fatal shooting Tuesday night in Vine City.

Officers responded just before 9 p.m. to a food mart located at 901 Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW, where they found a 35-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Victim Dies After Being Transported to Hospital

The victim was transported to Grady Hospital for emergency treatment. Despite medical efforts, he later died from his injuries.

Investigators secured the scene Tuesday night, placing numerous evidence markers around the property as they began processing forensic evidence and collecting witness statements.

Surveillance Photos Released as Investigation Continues

On Wednesday afternoon, authorities released two surveillance images of the suspects. A third image of the second suspect was also shared with news organizations, with officials noting that the darker coloration appears exactly as it was received.

Police are asking anyone with information about the case to come forward.
