According to Knewz.com, a former California Highway Patrol officer discovered a cache of cassette and DAT cassettes in a storage facility that contained unreleased Michael Jackson songs.
An colleague called Musgrove, a stay-at-home father, regarding a storage facility he purchased in Van Nuys. Bryan Loren, a musician and music producer, has owned the flat before.

Don’t Believe It is one of the unreleased songs on the recordings. After tabloid reports about him surfaced, Jackson was candid about the media’s portrayal of him and its effects on him, as seen by his 1987 song “Leave Me Alone.”
On another tape, Jackson can be heard elaborating on the meaning of the song “Seven Digits,” which alludes to the identification number that is given to dead in a mortuary. Another song, “Truth on Youth,” seems to be a rap duet between Jackson and LL Cool J.
The tapes were delivered to the Jackson estate earlier this year, but for whatever reason they chose not to buy them. They are currently in a secure location that is under Musgrove’s lawyer’s custody. They did caution that the copyright to the recordings and compositions would not belong to anyone who would buy the tracks.
Rather, they will probably never be heard by the general public because the song is owned by the late singer’s estate.
The Estate of Michael Jackson was shown DAT copies, not master recordings of his songs, and we verified that the master recordings were already in the Estate’s vaults, an estate representative clarified. Everyone should understand that MJJP Records retains ownership and exploitation rights to the recordings and that the DAT copies cannot be used for any kind of commercial purpose.
Although the find’s exact worth is uncertain, Musgrove thinks it is in the seven-figure area and is thinking about submitting it to the four main auction houses.
