Woodstock High School Business Expo is Looking for Local Businesses

July 27, 2012

It’s hard to believe, but students in the Cherokee County school district will already be going back to school next week. Pre-planning has begun for many teachers, and students will be back in the classroom next Wednesday, August 1st.

Every year, seniors in Cherokee County are expected to complete a senior project. At WHS alone, there are over 370 upcoming seniors, and to help them, Woodstock High School and Main Street Woodstock are teaming up for the second year in a row by collaborating an event called the Woodstock High School Business Expo. If you’re a local business, this is the perfect time to team up with students interested in your career field and help them learn the ins and outs of your job while teaching more about our great community. Woodstock Biz Expo Logo

If you’re interested in in showcasing your career path to the students of Woodstock High, here’s how to get involved:

Where: Woodstock High School Cafeteria

When: Thursday, August 16th, 2012

Time: 4:30pm – 8:00pm

Pre-registration is encouraged, and more details about the event will be provided as the event draws closer. Businesses will be allowed to set up for the event starting at 4:30pm in the Woodstock High School Cafeteria. Workshops for students will start at 5:30pm, and the Expo will run from 6:00-8:00pm.
