Woodstock, GA | A Great Place for a Scavenger Hunt

August 20, 2015

Get out and about to learn and explore in Woodstock during the 3rd Annual Discover Woodstock Scavenger Hunt! August 21 marks the kickoff for this annual event and it continues through September 5. Teams will compete against one another in an effort to complete as many tasks or challenges out of a list of 100 from the Discover Woodstock Scavenger Hunt. This scavenger hunt proves to be a unique experience as participants gather photographic evidence of their adventure through Woodstock.

Prize Winning Fun

The scavenger hunt encourages family fun and adventure, but there is a catch involved. Participants have the opportunity to complete as many of the tasks or challenges that they can out of a list of 100 in order to win a prize. Teams will compete for a $100 gift certificate in Downtown Dollars that can be spent at downtown businesses.

Eligible Participants

If you are a Woodstock resident or visitor, you are welcome to take part in this community activity that will help you get to know the Woodstock area better.

Rules are detailed on the VisitWoodstockGa.com site. Official tasks and challenges can be found beginning on Friday, August 21 on the  VisitWoodstockGa.com site, the Downtown Woodstock Facebook page, and they are available by hard copy at the Woodstock Visitor Center in the historic Dean’s Store on Main Street.

Check out the YouTube video below for a sampling of what tasks your team will have to complete. We wish you luck if you accept this challenge!
