Cherokee County School District (CCSD) student artists will perform at the Festival of the Arts this weekend in downtown Woodstock. This school district-Woodstock Arts event will celebrate artistic expression and community pride.
CCSD students will exhibit and perform at the festival from Friday to Sunday. Visitors may expect striking paintings, sculptures, and mixed media works, as well as fascinating musical and dramatic events.
The festival runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Visitors should check the infographic for the performance schedule to avoid missing any of the great acts.
The event will showcase the High School Art Show, which will amaze viewers with its inventiveness and ability. The Chambers at City Center on Main Street will host this showcase of CCSD high school students’ artistic talents. In a lovely tent on the Reeves House lawn, the Elementary and Middle School Art Show will display young inventiveness and artistic inquiry.
Musical and dramatic performances by school bands, choruses, and theatre programs will complement visual arts presentations. The Woodstock Arts Event Green Stage at 113 Elm St. will host these acts. Instrumentalists and aspiring actors and actresses will delight audiences.
The district’s support of student artists is shown at the CCSD Festival of the Arts. The festival promotes arts pride by giving students a chance to express themselves and perform.
