This weekend, downtown Woodstock is hosting the 4th Annual Woodstock Art & Wine Festival. This festival is a family-friendly 2-day outdoor festival and community celebration of the arts that offers something for all ages. Patrons will enjoy more than 70 talented artists and crafters, wine tasting with more than 30 featured wines, live music and entertainment, a kid’s area with art projects and games, and great food from festival participants and local eateries.
The artist’s market will feature more than 70 of the most talented artists in the Southeast, representing a variety of media including pottery, painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry and more. There will also be a general market with handcrafted items made here in Georgia.
On Friday, downtown Woodstock’s Friday Night Live event will kick off the weekend with the Woodstock Art & Wine Festival theme, offering lots of fun activities, featuring art as well as a wine tasting.
On Saturday, Woodstock’s Great American Chili Cook-off will be from 10:30am-3:30pm, benefiting the Woodstock Police Foundation. There will be two competitive divisions – an open division and a commercial division. During the cook-off, patrons will be able to purchase a variety of packages to sample the chili, and will also be given a chance to enter into a raffle drawing in which tickets will be sold to win various prizes.
