Woodstock Art & Wine Festival

October 31, 2014

The Park at City Center will have just a few days to recover from KidsFest before it prepares for the Woodstock Art & Wine Festival. As suggested by its name, this annual event celebrates art and wine. If you love art, entertainment, and wine, or any combination of those, then you will not want to miss this event taking place on Nov. 8 and 9.Art and Wine Festival

Juried Art Fair

More than 70 juried artists will be presenting their handcrafted artwork at the festival. An art fair is juried when artists apply and send in photos of their work to demonstrate quality and authenticity. Juried shows typically do not allow artists that buy and sell merchandise. Artists at the Woodstock Art & Wine Festival will be presenting handmade art work and represent some of the most talented artists of the southeast.

Live Entertainment

Throughout the two day event numerous music groups and performing arts groups will be providing entertainment. Watch the Woodstock Art & Wine Festival website for a schedule.

Wine Tasting

More than 30 varieties of wine will be available for your sipping and tasting. This is a great opportunity to learn more about wine. Wine tasting wristbands are available for $30 on festival days, or you may purchase them in advance online.

In addition to art, wine, and entertainment, there will also be plenty of entertainment opportunities for the kids. This event is free to the public and will be open from 11 am – 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9. Visit the event website and Facebook page for up-to-date information.
