What Is Missing In Towne Lake?

September 22, 2010

The Towne Lake community is an incredible place to live and to do business, and I’m certainly not trying to make any point to the contrary. However, I’m curious as to the types of things that you may feel are lacking, or perhaps missing altogether…things that would make our community an even better place to call home.

We Want To Hear From You!

Whether you feel like more after school programs and events are needed, or you really feel like all we need is a Trader Joe’s to be complete, here’s your chance to be heard. Please let us know your thoughts and opinions below this post in the comments. You can sign in with your Facebook acct. or you can use one of the other options. We’d really like to hear from you on this topic today!

Trader Joe’s, Barnes and Noble, but I hate to lose more wooded areas

A nice bookstore would be great! I think we have enough vacant space/land for some new and interesting businesses without knocking over too many trees! Thank you for your comment today Arleene, we appreciate your input!

      Arleene,
I think the former Publix building should be utilized so that no trees are cut down and we don’t have an eyesore of another empty building. This would also help the other smaller businesses that are struggling in that desolate plaza. I’m all for ‘recycling’ already established spaces.

Trader Joes would fit nicely where the mini Publix closed! I hate driving to Marietta or Roswell for it.

…we all know how well they would do here in Towne Lake. I’m actually more than a little surprised that we don’t have one yet. The old Publix is crying out for it, can they not hear?! Thanks for commenting!

A Trader Joes or Whole Foods would be fantastic additions to the Towne Lake area. The former Publix building would be a convenient location for either of these businesses due to access from I-575. This would make it easy for other nearby communities to stop by, creaating a larger consumer base.

A good book store! So tired of having to drive 20 miles to have a good book selection. And Rose Creek is the biggest excuse for a library that I have ever seen!

I would like a Trader Joes and a Friendlys (Restaurant/Ice cream) Brusters does well, but a place you could actually get food and ice cream and go insed, would be much better! There are plenty of them up north and its such a great family friendly place.
A book store also a great one. A deli and a bakery too. I agree, the Rose Creek library is terrible.
