Jennifer Garner shared with passion that her friend “didn’t get out on time” and lost his life in the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.
The Golden Globe-winning actress was spotted assisting the World Central Kitchen and providing food to Palisades fire survivors, according to Knewz.com.
The 52-year-old actress talked about how losing her companion made her feel extremely emotional.
“I did lose a friend,” she said to reporters. And it’s quite sensitive for our church. Therefore, I don’t think I should discuss her just now. However, I did lose a friend because they were late leaving.
Garner also talked candidly about the people whose homes were destroyed by the wildfires that raged over the county of Los Angeles.
“My heart bleeds for all of my friends,” she continued.
Five thousand homes have been lost, and I can name a hundred families. I can list a hundred people who lost their homes without even thinking about it.
“I almost feel bad about going through my house, but what can I do? How may I be of assistance? “What can I provide?”
The actress also disclosed that the Methodist church she used to attend on Sundays had been destroyed by fire.
“It’s my family’s church,” Garner said. My children attended Sunday school there.
“A few weeks ago, we all gathered there to light the Advent candle. We saw the young children perform. It’s a preschool. It plays a major role in our community.
During the horrifying fires, Garner’s ex-husband Ben Affleck fled his enormous property and sought refuge at her home.
Three children are shared by the ex-couple, who were wed from 2005 to 2018: Violet, 19, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.
After splitting from Jennifer Lopez, the Pearl Harbor star bought his five-bedroom, six-bathroom property in Pacific Palisades last summer. Their former Beverly Hills marital residence, valued at $68 million, is presently for sale.
The ex-partners even spent Christmas together with their kids, suggesting that Garner has been standing by Affleck since their breakup.
The Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hills, the Palisades Fire west of Los Angeles, and the Eaton Fire north of Pasadena are among the several large flames that have forced over 153,000 Californians to evacuate.
