Riverfest is coming to Canton’s Boling Park next weekend, September 29th and 30th. Riverfest arts and crafts festival is the largest fundraiser hosted by the Service League of Cherokee County, an organization deep-rooted in Cherokee history with a long-standing mission of assisting the needy children and families of the area. In a weekend of fun, food and shopping from local artists and crafters, Riverfest is a great is a great opportunity to get out and support a local organization for a great cause.
This year, Riverfest will have an expanded children’s area filled with fun and games, including bounce-house inflatables, pony patch rides, Little Red Barn petting zoo, a train, quad-bungee jump, face painting, wacky hair, beading, and more. There will also be a full schedule of entertainment, including Cherokee artists Aspen Countryman, Madison Shea, Jordan Grassi and the Creigh Riepe Band.
Riverfest starts at 10:00am on Saturday and goes through 6:00pm, and Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The cost is a $5 donation for adults and is free for children 10 years and under.
