Townelaker– A Tragic Incident unfolded at a gas station in Chamblee, Georgia, when 23-year-old Anderson Adonay-Perdomo was fatally shot after asking for money. The suspect, 26-year-old Quinterius Sutton, has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and misdemeanor driving without a valid license in connection with the incident.
According to witnesses, the incident occurred on March 18 around 12:35 p.m. at a gas station in Chamblee. Adonay-Perdomo was reportedly asking people for money when he approached Sutton’s car. Sutton allegedly shot him once in the torso before fleeing the scene. Despite efforts to save him, Adonay-Perdomo succumbed to his injuries at Grady Memorial Hospital.
The swift apprehension of Sutton was facilitated by automated license plate readers, which captured his license plate number. Sutton was wanted in connection with another shooting death, that of Trevor Stephenson, 21, outside a bar in August 2023. He is currently being held at the DeKalb County Jail, although it is unclear if he has entered a plea or retained legal representation.
