Play golf for a good cause at the Third Annual Etowah Eagles Golf Tournament on Friday, August 15th, 2014 at the Eagle Watch Golf Course. This event will support the five boys and girls teams in the Etowah basketball program. Organizers of the event promise that it will be a great opportunity to network and spend time with members of the community while benefiting the deserving kids in the Etowah basketball program.
The event is a scramble golf tournament, so all levels of golfers may participate. The donation to play starts at $125, a price that includes golf, range balls, a nice tee gift, giveaways from sponsors, lunch, drinks, dinner appetizers and more. The event begins at 11 a.m. with a practice range and putting contest. Shotgun start is 1 p.m.
The event organizers are also selling raffle tickets, mulligans and various sponsor packages, with all the proceeds going to benefit kids in the Woodstock community. The event continues 7-10 p.m., with a cocktail reception, casino tables, heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and drink specials. A raffle, live auction and sponsor and coach recognition ceremony will follow.
