Papa’s Pantry Needs Food

This week until 10/31: Ameris Bank of Woodstock is sponsoring a food drive for Papa’s Pantry. Collection containers are at the Main office, Main Street in Woodstock, Woodstock Pharmacy, and Morgan Ace Hardware.  Please let everyone you know that for every item donated to these locations, Papa’s will get .35 cents!

After Wednesday, please feel free to bring food items to our Woodstock location: 6551 Commerce Parkway, Suite 200, 30189. Papa's Pantry logo

EMERGENCY FOOD NEEDS:  Breakfast cereal, oatmeal, grits, cereal bars, peanut butter!!, jelly, canned meat, canned fruit, canned spaghettis, rice, side dish and flavor packets, boxed meals, mac n cheese, spaghetti sauce, black beans, lima beans, snacks for kid’s lunch boxes, juice, juice boxes, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, pet food.

THANKSGIVING NEEDS: Frozen Turkeys, Stuffing (boxed or bagged), fried onion “crunchies,” sweet potatoes (fresh or canned), white potatoes (fresh, canned, or instant), canned gravy (jars break in big food drives), marshmallows, canned pumpkin, canned milk, raisins, other fresh produce: collard greens,celery, onions, lettuce, spinach, bananas, apples, oranges, holiday pies, cookie mixes, white and brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic powder, onion powder, sage, poultry seasoning, baking soda, baking powder, chicken broth, rolls, cooking oil, and tin foil. We do not need canned green beans or corn during this time.)

Your tax-deductible donation is gladly accepted to purchase things like milk, butter, cheese, and other perishable food items families need.  Please visit papaspantry.org to safely donate online. We also have a Papa’s Pantry drop-off location here at the Townelaker office, so please feel free to drop off your donations here as well.
