Golf Tournament at Towne Lake Hills to Benefit Etowah Baseball

October 10, 2013

Eowah High School BaseballThe Dugout Club, the booster organization for Etowah High School baseball, will be holding “Raise the Roof for Etowah Baseball” golf tournament on Friday October 18, at Towne Lake Hills Golf Club with a 9:30 am shotgun start. Funds raised from this event will help fund the rebuilding of the baseball facilities at the school.

The county has funded the initial demolition of the facilities but there are not enough funds to support the rebuilding of the backstop, hitting building and equipment shed.  The balance of funds will come from fundraising and community support.

The golf tournament will include –

  • Million Dollar Shootout
  • $10,000 Hole-In-One
  • Par 3 Hole-In-One Prizes
  • Putting Contest
  • $150 Cash Raffle
  • Closest-To-The-Pin
  • Challenge the Coach
  • Longest Drive Mulligans
  • Door Prizes
  • Range Balls
  • Lunch
  • Walkups and single golfers will be welcome

Following play, the festivities will move indoors to Featherstone’s Bar & Grill along with awards, casual buffet and raffles.

Sponsors include Chik-fil-A, All-Tournament Players Park, Goin Golf, The Product Source (TPS), Auburn College of Engineering, and HTH Building Services. Additional sponsorship opportunities including $100 hole sponsorships are still available and 100% of sponsorships go directly to the building fund.

Additional information including online registration and payment can be found at www.etowahbaseball.org.
