Recently the TowneLaker shared great opportunities that the CRPA has to offer. Did you know that Cherokee County has even opportunities? If you have finished making your new year’s resolutions and are ready to work on your goals, you may want to put these local events on your calendar.
Amazing Trails and Parks
While there are plenty of organized runs and activities in Cherokee County, we wanted to remind you that the trails and parks are great for non-organized runs and events as well. Lisa Randall points out the many perks of Rope Mill Park, Boling Park, and Garland Mountain Horse and Hike Trails on p. 77 of the Jan. TowneLaker. Visiting any of these locations will make for a great family or independent running or hiking adventure!
Green Prints
Don’t forget that the Green Prints trail system is thriving throughout Woodstock. With a plan for 60+ miles of trail and open space in the city of Woodstock and surrounding areas there is always plenty of opportunity to get out and get active.
