After being found guilty of horrifying sexual abuse of their adopted sons, a Georgia couple has been imprisoned for the remainder of their life.
William and Zachary Zulock, husbands, were each given a 100-year prison sentence without the chance of release, according to Knewz.com.
Despite their outward appearance as a picture-perfect family, authorities claim that William, 34, and Zachary, 36, operated a “house ofhorrors” behind closed doors.
“These two Defendants really created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else,” stated Randy McGinley, the district attorney for Walton County.
However, the victims’ resilience and the determination of those who battled for justice in this case are greater than the defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets.
“The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring.”
The two young boys, now ages 10 and 12, were adopted by the Zulocks via a Christian special needs adoption agency.
Despite putting on the front as a happy family living in an affluentAtlantasuburb while Zachary and William held respectable jobs in banking and government, respectively the two men brutallyrapedtheir adopted sons, often filming the vile acts to produce pedophilicpornography.
Evidence presented during the trial revealed that the Zulocks even boasted to their friends about the torture.
Zachary, a 36-year-old government worker, told a pal on Snapchat: “I’m going to f— my son tonight.” Hold on.”
Additionally, he supplied pictures of the youngster being mistreated.
The Zulocks were also charged with local pedophilia, allegedly using social media to market their sons to at least two other men.
According to local press, Hunter Lawless, a suspected member of the sick ring, was found downloading child pornography in 2022, which led to William and Zachary’s arrest.
Lawless allegedly admitted to officials during his interview that he was gathering the pornographic material and named another suspect who lived in Oxford.
Lawless further told police the suspect he mentioned was making the disturbing content with a child living in his home, leading police to obtain a search warrant for the Zulock’s residence.
Police arrested the Zulocks at a home in unincorporated Loganville. Lawless pled guilty to sexual exploitation of children and agreed to cooperate in the prosecution of the Zulocks.
Authorities worked with the Georgia Division of Family and Child Services to protect the two brothers under the Zulock’s care.
Both men pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, sexual exploitation of children.
