The event will feature a Dog Talent Contest and a Dog/Owner look-alike contest. Participants are asked to preregister for the dog talent competition at the Woodstock Visitor’s Center. The $1 registration fee will be donated to the Cherokee County Animal Shelter.
To enter the Dog/Owner Look-Alike contest, visit the Woodstock Visitor’s Center any time during the event to have your picture taken. The winners of both contests are promised some awesome prizes!
Dog Days of Summer will have some on-site pet rescue groups ready to find some lucky pups their forever home. If you’ve already got a furry friend, bring them along to participate in the contests or to take advantage of the dog-friendly vendors, including Dogma Natural Pet Market, Bark Station, Green Pet Rescue, Pur Pals Place, Britix Pet Treats, and Sneaky Dog Treats.
Friday Night Live starts at 6 p.m. and goes through 9 p.m. To get more information about this month’s event, visit Main Street Woodstock’s website or connect with them on Facebook.
