North Georgia State Fair

The North Georgia State Fair returns to Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta, Sept. 22-Oct. 2, 4-11 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 4 p.m.-midnight Fridays, 10 a.m.-midnight Saturdays and 12:30-10 p.m.
Sundays. The fair features live music, free attractions and shows, farm animals, local entertainment, rides, food and more. Admission is $10 at the gate. Children 10 and under get in free. Online discount tickets can be purchased in advance, as well as discounted books of ride tickets. www.northgeorgiastatefair.com.
