Do you or someone you know have talent?
Here is the chance to show it off to the local community AND have a chance to win a $500 grand prize!
The Cherokee Association of Realtors (CAOR) is preparing for its third annual talent show, Cherokee’s Got Talent, and is searching for contestants. The event will take place at the Elm Street Cultural Arts Village at 8534 Main Street in Woodstock, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday July 27th.
The CAOR is looking for singers, dancers, actors, musicians, comedians, magicians, and other family friendly individual or group acts for their annual fundraiser, which this year will benefit the Elm Streets Cultural Arts Village and the Woodstock Habitat for Humanity home building project that the CAOR will be building for a local family.
Contestants will have the opportunity to take to the full size stage of the Elm Street Cultural Arts Village to perform under the lights and then be judged and critiqued by an American Idol style panel of local judges. Don’t worry though, the judges are friendly, no Simon Cowell’s allowed. This could be the start of your path to being the next Kelly Clarkson!
In addition to the talent show, there will be a silent auction conducted throughout the evening with products and services donated by local merchants and refreshments available for purchase.
Entry fee for contestants is $30. For the audience, tickets will cost $10.00 in advance, $15.00 at the door with kids five and under free and available for purchase at cherokeesgottalent.com which is also where interested talent performers can register online.
Sponsorships and silent auction items are still being accepted for this event. For more information and details you can contact the CAOR at 770-591-0004. You can also visit the Cherokee’s Got Talent Facebook page.
