With the 105 degree temperatures looming over Towne Lake this weekend, we thought we’d put together a list of all the places in our neighborhood to stop and get a cool treat!
Baskin Robbins – If you have a summer birthday like a few of our staff members, ice cream cakes are typically a fond birthday memory, and there aren’t too many companies that can create an ice cream cake quite like Baskin Robbins. Located at Towne Lake Parkway and I-575, they have cakes, sundaes and many different ice cream flavors to choose from. For June, Strawberry Lemonade Punch Sherbet is the flavor of the month!
Menchie’s – If frozen yogurt is more your thing, Menchie’s offers a rotating selection of frozen yogurt flavors with different toppings to suit every taste bud. Customers can mix as many flavors and toppings as they wish, as you pay by overall weight, not by toppings.
Bruster’s – Bruster’s Ice Cream, located off of Eagle Drive offers a great deal for banana split lovers – bring your own banana on Thursdays and get half off the price! Bruster’s also has waffle cones, shakes, smoothies and no sugar added flavors, and many different traditional flavors to choose from.
Yoguri Woodstock – Opening their sister store in downtown Woodstock on Chambers Street behind Pure Taqueria, Yoguri started in Athens, GA in 2009 and prides itself on serving fresh, fat-free all-natural frozen yogurt. Yoguri’s yogurt offers simple, wholesome ingredients with flavors like pomegranate, taro, and dark chocolate.
Ooh La La yogurt – On Eagle Drive, we’re lucky enough to have one of three locations of OoLaLa Yogurt Ur Way. This yogurt shop offers premium yogurt that is all-natural, nonfat, gluten-free, with probiotics to aid in healthy immune and digestive system, perfect for sensitive stomachs.
