On Sept. 15th over 130 animals were found in a Cherokee County home. These dogs and cats were rescued by the Marshal’s office and are now being cared for at CCAS. These animals still require further medical and behavioral evaluation and are not yet available for adoption.
Due to this emergency the shelter had doubled the number of animals in their care overnight and have some urgent needs. Please see the posting from their newsletter below for items urgently needed, or visit their website at www.cherokeega.com for a more complete listing.
