Tragic collapse injures construction workers
On Wednesday in Casey, a partially completed wooden frame fell, severely injuring two construction workers.
The building at Westside Church of Christ collapsed while renovations were underway this summer. Wooden roof trusses collapsed during the construction of an expansion that added 4,500 square feet. The couple was reportedly taken to Champaign by helicopter, according to the church.
