Following the death of the Hollywood agent who revived their careers, the Osbournes are in sorrow.
Michael Carlton Boyington was discovered dead at his home at the age of 53, and the TV family, led by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, has been left “devastated” by his passing, according to Knewz.com.
According to a source, “His passing has completely crushed the Osbournes.
“They’ve had amazing careers in front of the camera because of Michael, who played a major role in their comeback.
“So many other reality stars and similar programs would not have existed without their show. He ushered forth a whole new era of fame.
Variety reports that Boyington was discovered unconscious at his San Pedro, Los Angeles, California, residence on Monday.
According to B.G. Dickey, Boyington’s brother, the cause of his death is still unknown.
According to his obituary, he was “the life of every party” and had “boundless energy.”
He had been “known for his boundless energy, magnetic personality, and zest for life, Cal was truly the life of every party,” according to the notice.
“He had a remarkable talent for making everyone happy and illuminating a space.
“Those who knew Cal would attest to his unwavering passion for living each day to its fullest.”
The TV executive is recognized for his contributions to the popular reality show The Osbournes, which stars rock musician Ozzy, his wife Sharon, and their two kids, Jack and Kelly.
The success of the show led to the creation of other celebrity reality shows, such as Rock of Love with Bret Michaels and Gene Simmons Family Jewels.
Additionally, Boyington has served as an executive producer on Comedy Central’s seven-season series Workaholics.

He co-founded the Vital Artists Agency in 2020 with Phil Irven and April Yuan, agents for Rebel Entertainment.
Valerie Chow, the executive producer of The Great American Recipe, was one of the creators of popular shows represented by the unscripted talent agency.

However, the three co-founders parted ways in April of last year, with Boyington becoming the sole proprietor of the “Vital” moniker.
None of the agents commented, except for a joint statement stating that the “split was amicable.”
“As a group the split was amicable and that all parties herein remain solely focused on their clients and the bright future ahead,” the company said in a statement to Deadline at the time.
